PREBIOTICS ARE AS IMPORTANT AS PROBIOTICS

Image
Everything You need to know about why PREBIOTICS ARE AS IMPORTANT AS PROBIOTICS A famous quote said by Hippocrates - “All disease begins in the Gut”. It’s common to overlook the health of our gastrointestinal system, even though it contains ten times more  health-determining bacteria than the rest of our body. Protecting us from infection, supporting our metabolism, and promoting healthy digestion and elimination. Unfortunately, the majority of the population has inadequate amount of beneficial (good) bacteria and a lack of bacterial diversity. Instead of that majority of population has excess amount of damaging (bad) bacteria largely because of poor diet  but also because of :   Stress, Over medication, Exposure of Environmental toxins, Current health and poor body composition   Acquisition of Inadequate bacterial  Prebiotics are employed to promote both beneficial bacteria which are already established in the colon as well as externally administered

Flavonoid Rich Diet’s Protective Effect

And it is easily achievable through the diet: 1 cup of tea, 1 apple, 1 orange, 100 g of blueberries, and 100 g of broccoli would provide the wide range of flavonoids compound and over 500 mg of total flavonoids . Total flavonoids intake and its link to mortality rates appears than in non-smokers as well as in heavy versus low moderate alcoho

Image
Milk of mammals contains sugar name lactose which is a disaccharide of galactose and glucose. When any food including milk and milk products is consumed, Lactose goes into intestine where it needs to be hydrolysis is carried out in small intestine by enzymes lactase which is produced there. When there is insufficient amount of lactase present the undigested lactose then passes through small intestine and remains unabsorbed into the large intestine. There bacteria present will use this lactose and produce large amount of gas, which cause bloating, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps etc. which are the symptoms of lactose intolerance. Solution to the Problem: ü   Avoid Milk and Milk Products The solution can be of different types. Since lactose is the problem, avoiding lactose will be an immediate solution. Since milk is the source of lactose, if milk is removed from the diet the problem disappears.       However, this is not a good solution as milk is a

Feel Proud To Be A “DIETITIAN”

Image
I am proud to call myself a “Dietitian”. Before to get into it, I will start with what makes the title “Dietitian”. Dietitians all start with essentially the same education: clinical nutrition, food service management, community nutrition, and public health nutrition.  These building blocks allow dietitians to work in many different industries and roles. Dietitians can be found in healthcare anywhere, including the neonatal ICU providing IV nutrition to premature infants or community health centers helping individuals to navigate their chronic health conditions. Dietitians work to change nutrition policies in public health roles.  Dietitians work in industry, manage food service operations, own private practices, and take on roles in many other diverse areas. Even though dietitians don’t work in just one area, we are all working to bring high quality, evidence-based nutrition information to you. FODMAPs: Play a Major Role in Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

These are the scientific term classify the groups of small carbohydrates that many people cannot digest and it is notorious for triggering digestive symptoms like bloating, gas and stomach pain. Be Spice-Wise

Image
Spices not only add flavor and aroma; they also bring therapeutic value to any meal. Spices help boost natural immunity, and most of them can rev up our digestion so our bodies are able to absorb and assimilate the nutrients from the foods we eat! According to ayurveda, each meal should contain all six flavors: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, astringent, and pungent. The dominance of the flavors will be based on our predominant dosha makeup. For example, a Vata-predominant person will favor heavier meals with sour and salty tastes. A Kapha-predominant person may favor more pungent meals, and a Pitta-predominant person more sweet flavors. Remember, having all six tastes in our meals means that the spice is present, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that we may overtly taste each flavor.      WANT TO CURE YOUR HEALTH ACCORDING TO AYURVEDIC CONSITUTION BASED DIET PLAN, CONTACT “ uNme Diet Clinique” UNDER GIVEN ADDRESS: Email Id : unmedietclinique@gmail.com Mob: +91,95822
